1. Interested in joining in on an exciting and controversial trend? Interested in sharing creative ideas? Our journey continues every Thursday evening in our Altered Books workshop. In the weekly sessions we explore stamping, collage, and art techniques to design and embellish a themed keepsake book. Choose from our wide selection of paper, trim, and embellishments or bring along some of your own "treasures".

2. Tags, Tags, Tags! We'll create a tag pocket booklet, tags as embellishments, tag dolls, and more in this class. What fun ways to use all those tags you've collected! Includes tags, booklet template, and other supplies.

3. In Stained Glass Cards, we will show you a few ways to use rubber stamps to create beautiful cards! Using glitter, vellum, and a few different techniques, we'll have the most colorful cards in town!

4. Stamping Basics is just the class for you if you would like answers to all of your stamping questions! Which ink should I use? What is the difference between dry and heat embossing? What is a mask? Which is the right adhesive to use for my project? There are so many types of paper---which is the "right" one to use? Which materials are best for coloring my stamped images? How can I add embellishments to my cards? We'll help you answer these questions and more, and you'll be on your way to creating great cards and projects!

5. A Spirit Doll can be a personal expression of "the goddess", empowerment, or just w form of whimsy---it's up to you! Once stamped, colored and painted, we'll use beads, fibers and more to give her just the "right" look.

6. You will make two Asian Inspired Cards in this class. Using handmade paper, we'll create a scroll card. Washi and other embellishments will adorn the second card.

7. Create your own Altered Tin in this workshop. Use stamping, decoupage and painting techniques and more. Embellish the tin and show your style! Elevate the tin frim a mere container to a work of art! Select a theme and create a miniature scene inside.

8. What is Repousse? We'll show you how to stamp, emboss and color your design on metal. Use your completed pieces to adorn a card, collage, journal, or other works of art.

9. In this Watercolor Backgrounds class, we will use 3 different techniques to create watercolor backgrounds---just the beginning to uniquely beautiful and colorful cards. Learn to use a variety of watercolor mediums to create the effects you want.

10. Piano Hinge Journals make a wonderfully personal photo album, journal or scrapbook. In this class, you'll learn how to construct the journal and leave with many inspiring ideas to fill your journal. Select from a tiny version of this popular book, or make the full sized version---the choice is yours!

13. In Cigar Box Collage you'll create a wonderful place to store trinkets, correspondence, and more. With your creativity, the box will be a work of art! Use our wide assortment of rubber stamps, ink, paint, and embellishments to make a statement!

14. Mica Powders are a wonderful medium , especially when you learn just how versatile they are! You will be able to achieve wonderful effects on all of your stamped art. With 20 colors to choose from, you'll have a chance to experiment with some of the endless possibilities!

15. Stamping with Watercolors is a great way to achieve a softer, yet very colorful look with your stamped images. They can then be layered on cards, or used to embellish other projects.

16. The Star Book makes a beautiful gift to share with a special friend or family member. Bring along any photos and keepsakes you would like to include. This is a two-session workshop. In the first session, we will embellish the pages. The second session will consist of assembling the book and putting the finishing touches on the book cover. The price covers both sessions, and includes supplies.

22. In the Tag Booklet class we will explore two tag booklet styles, and you will leave with a tag booklet template suitable for standard tags available at the office supply store. The booklets make a wonderful gift, and a great stand-in for a special occasion card.

23. The Cheer Up/Thinking of You Care Package day is sure to brighten someone's day. We'll make a greeting card, and include a few other goodies to help you show how much you care!

24. Collage is a great way to preserve those special memories and keepsakes. Compose a collage with our extensive collection of photos, maps, memorabilia and more. You are also welcome to bring along any photos, cards, souvenirs or other trinkets you would like to include. This is also an opportunity to start that scrapbook you just don't seem to get around to!

25. In this workshop, we'll explore Background Paper Techniques. Create beautiful background papers to use in your creative projects. We'll explore paste paper, faux marbling techniques, bleach, and more. Be sure to wear an old shirt, or bring an apron or old work shirt to protect your clothing. You'll leave with a stack of original background papers made by YOU! Bring a sack lunch, if you wish, as this is a 6-hour workshop.

29. There is nothing more soothing than the sensous sound of rain against your window panes. Let us guide you in creating an instrument with a gentle soothing sound made from common recycled materials and hand dyed paper. You will use stamps, ink, fibers and more to make the rainstick truly your own original. Inspired by the intricately detailed rainsticks found in Chile, rainsticks have been used in South America by tribesmen for centuries to entice the gods into yielding some greatly needed precipitation. The rainstick is a wonderful treasure to display, and makes an incredible gift for all ages. There is nothing more soothing than the sensous sound of rain against your window panes.

32. Light as Air ornaments are as simple or as sophisticated as you wish. Because the main component is air dry clay, they are lightweight enough to embellish your holiday cards (and they won't cost a fortune to mail!) or to decorate your tree. We'll use paint, ink, glitter and more to add some glitz!

33. Shrink and Gloss ornaments are made using the Melting Pot, shrink plastic, and LOTS of UTEE. Using some of Suze's techniques, your ornaments are sure to be stunning!

34. Embossing on Metal is all the rage these days. What better way to create some original ornaments to share with friends and relatives for the holiday season? We'll stamp images and add texture and color. Stars, stockings, angels, candy canes are wonderful shapes to hang on your tree or gift pachages.

35. The Holiday Star Book is just as beautiful as the original handmade Star Book, but is dressed up in honor of the holiday season. Cut out pages let the recipient "see" through to the image behind. If you'd like to include any of your treasured photos, please bring them to the 1st session. This is a two session class. The first session consists of decorating the pages. The second session consists of the actual construction of the book. Your completed book will be a masterpiece.

36. Glittering Holiday Cards are in order during the holiday season. We have a new supply of glitter just for this class! We will create 3D glittering embellishments for the cards, and use glitter to trim the cards, too. You will learn to make the stained glass card, too.

37. If you haven't tried Domino Art, this is the class for you! We'll color, paint and stamp dominoes, as well as other game pieces. As you probably know, these are all the rage for cards, journals, and collage pieces.

41. Cards with Asian Flair will be just in time for Chinese New Year. We'll use Asian stamp images, then add 3D embellishments to accent our art.

42. In the Background Papers Workshops, we'll explore up to 4 Background Paper Techniques. Create beautiful background papers to use in your creative projects. We'll explore paste paper, and Faux marbling techniques in the first workshop (9 a.m. to 12 noon). In the second workshop(1 p.m. to 4 p.m.) we will make beautiful polished stone backgrounds and experiment in bleach techniques .Be sure to wear an old shirt, or bring an apron or work shirt to protect your clothing. You'll leave with a stack of original background papers made by YOU! Bring a sack lunch, if you plan to attend both portions of the workshop (or purchase lunch at one of the nearby eateries). 43. Backgrounds That Shimmer will show you new ways to work with mica powders as you
create beautiful cards and more. Learn to use the powders to create watercolor effects that shimmer, as well as subtle backgrounds that give your art a special touch.

in the shape of your choice We'll provide the templates. You will then embellish the cover using handmade papers, and a variety of beads, glitter and other ephemera from our vast collection of supplies. Make it fun & funky or simple & elegant! It's all up to you!
